RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES

from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011

DATES TO REMEMBER:

10 May 2010 - Renewal forms and invoices are emailed to Conveyancers

20 June 2010 - Completed forms and all payments due to NZSOC

1 July 2010 - Renewed Registration Certificates/Practising Certificates come into force

Renew your Registration Certificate

To enable you to renew your Registration Certificate you are required to complete the application renewal form and pay the prescribed fees.

These forms will be sent to all current Conveyancing Practitioners (either by email or mail) in early May with details of the fees payable. You can either:

• Complete the forms and post back to the Society, and pay your fees electronically; or
• Complete the forms and post back to the Society together with payment of your fees.

Fees from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011

The total annual fees, levies and contributions payable for this period (subject to Ministerial approval) which includes membership fees if applicable:

• Registered Conveyancer as an employee                                                                            $584.38
   
• Registered Conveyancer issued with a Practising Certificate as an employee                         $1,091.13
  
  
• Conveyancing Practitioner issued with a Practising Certificate practising on own
  account without a trust account                                                                                    $1,113.63
  
  
• Conveyancing Practitioner issued with a Practising Certificate as a sole
  Practitioner or a director of an incorporated Conveyancing firm                                         $1,476.13 

The Register for Registered Conveyancers and Conveyancing Practitioners

Please ensure you notify the Society by email of any changes required to be recorded on the register. For example: if you are no longer practising on your own account and now a partner in a partnership or director of an incorporated Conveyancing firm. This information is for the Society’s records only and for statistical purposes.

Individual details, other than the information provided for in R19 (3) the LCA (Conveyancers: Registration and Practice Rules) Regulations 2008, will only be published with your approval.
