RENEWAL PROCESS DATES TO REMEMBER:
10 May 2011 - Renewal forms and invoices are emailed to Conveyancers 20 June 2011 - Completed forms and all payments due to NZSOC 1 July 2011 - Renewed Registration Certificates/Practising Certificates come into force
Renew your Registration Certificate or Practising Certificate To enable you to renew your Registration Certificate or Practising Certificate you are required to complete the application renewal form and pay the prescribed fees. These forms will be sent to all current Conveyancing Practitioners (either by email or mail) in early May with details of the fees payable. You can either:
- Complete the forms and post back to the Society, and pay your fees electronically; or - Complete the forms and post back to the Society together with payment of your fees.
Fees The total annual fees, levies and contributions payable for this period (subject to Ministerial approval) which includes membership fees if applicable:
The Register for Registered Conveyancers and Conveyancing Practitioners Please ensure you notify the Society by email of any changes required to be recorded on the register. For example: if you are no longer practising on your own account and now a partner in a partnership or director of an incorporated Conveyancing firm. This information is for the Society’s records only and for statistical purposes. Individual details, other than the information provided for in R19 (3) the LCA (Conveyancers: Registration and Practice Rules) Regulations 2008, will only be published with your approval.
Membership (voluntary) As a member of the Society of Conveyancing, this entitles those members to special benefits through the Society. (Refer to our section “Membership” on our website)
